Lead, This study examines elderly residents' ways of dwelling to support home care. Three houses were analyzed: a 100-year-old traditional house, a 25-year-old detached house, and a 10-year-old detached house with a shop. Despite renovations like handrails, unused spaces and accessibility challenges remained. While residents found some inconveniences, they did not see them as major issues. Care managers, however, noted risks like falls and the need for better living arrangements. Future studies are necessary to optimize living environments based on residents’ needs.
