Early childhood education was provided at the target preschool education facilities. The author proposed an additional educational program that was in line with early childhood development and could be implemented by local kindergarten teachers. In this study, to measure the effects of early childhood education on the target children, a survey of school performance was conducted one to two years after graduating from the facility. The results showed a significant difference in academic performance and school adjustment between children who had participated in the program and those with no experience of preschool education at the time of second grade of elementary school, confirming the positive effects of the program.
