Paper

  • Study of Usefulness of Second-Year Pharmacy Students' in-class "Yakuiku" Experience. - To Train Pharmacists Who Can Conduct Health Knowledge Dissemination and Awareness-Raising Activities in the Future-
Joint Author, Mina Harada, Michiko Obara, Takayuki Yoshida, Mami Kikuchi, Lead, This study aimed to cultivate practical skills for disseminating and promoting health knowledge by implementing an in-class "Yakuiku" program for 138 second-year pharmacy students. Students worked in groups of four to five on themes for elementary school children, junior high school students, or older adults, creating educational materials, presenting, and conducting self-evaluations. Results showed significant improvement in most of the four key competencies--communication, accuracy, proactiveness, and collaboration--and suggested the future feasibility of conducting "Yakuiku" activities as pharmacists., Japanese Journal of Applied Pharmacology, The Society of Applied Pharmacology, 108, 3/4, 109, 115, Apr. 2025, Exist, Exist, English, Research papers (academic journals), Domestic, Not International Collabolation
