- 健康な女子大学生を対象とした基礎体温の二相性パターンに関連する要因の検討

筆頭著者, 月経周期の日数が正常範囲にある女子大学生31名を対象に基礎体温測定, 体組成分析, 食事摂取状況などの調査を行い, 基礎体温の二相性の有無に関連する要因を検討した. 基礎体温測定結果に基づき, 31名を二相性あり群7名, 二相性なし群24名に区分し初経経過年数を比較した. その結果, 初経発来から8年を経過した者の割合は二相性あり群の方に多かった. さらに, 初経発来から8年以上経過した16名で検討した場合, 二相性あり群は二相性なし群よりも, たんぱく質, 総食物繊維, カルシウム, 鉄などのミネラル6種類, ビタミンK, 葉酸, ビタミンCなど8種類のビタミンの摂取量が有意に多かった. 月経周期の日数が正常範囲で基礎体温に二相性が認められるには, 初経発来から8年を経過していること, 8年を経過している場合は食事摂取状況が関連することが示された. - 〔報 文〕食物アレルギー児のQOL向上に関する研究-特に管理栄養士の役割から-

筆頭著者, In recent years, Oral Immunotherapy(OIT)for food allergies has received a lot of attention. The aim of this study is to examine the effects of the treatment through research into the quality of life(QOL)of children with food allergies and their parents, and to explore the role of registered dietitians(RD)in the course of their therapy. Two validated food allergy-specific questionnaires(FAQLQ-CF and FAQLQ-PF)were distributed to 42 children with food allergies and their 42 parents respectively before children began an OIT protocol in hospital, and then again 6 months and 12 months after completing the protocol. Valid answers of 33 children and their 33 parents were analyzed. The results of the questionnaire revealed that the QOL as related to food of the children with food allergies and their parents had changed from the beginning of the protocol, and these benefits were still evident twelve months later. Especially, significant improvement was found in the "social anxiety" of 9 children who had eliminated only one food and also in their 9 parents. The children's eating habits had improved. And generally the OIT had positive effects on allergic children and their parents. But the researchers could not detect whether the children had enjoyed eating the foods they were allergic to during the therapy. RDs, who have acquired professional food expertise, have usually worked helping the patients and parents to avoid allergenic foods, but for those who undergo OIT protocol, they need to give advice and more detailed support to the children and parents on how to eat the allergenic food properly during and after their therapy.
