This paper deals with a problem to develop and manage educational program for manufacturing managers with a comparative advantage in leadership roles who are making contributions toward the use of manufacturing technology for the creation of customer satisfaction above and beyond what is generally expected. The basic concept behind the development combines an intelligent knowledge-based approach with the kaizen activity program by the fusion of tacit knowledge of practitioners and explicit knowledge of graduate students in a class. The program is supported and managed by a network referred to as Academia, Business, Consultancy, and local Government (ABC-G). Learners supported by the program can achieve their outcomes through such a learning process as knowledge acquisition, knowledge understanding and knowledge creation.
